Off to work, work at night? If Supernumerary in La Traviata is work!

The roadway at Devil's Slide along the coast, recently diverted through the Devil's Slide Tunnel, is now re-opened as a 1.3 mile walking/biking/horse path atop the majestic ocean-side cliffs. Fabulous.

A knock-out dinner in the Mission last night at http://westofpecos.com/, and a Chanticleer 'Russian Dreams' concert at the beautiful Mission Dolores Basilica. Wonderful evening!

Yea! Bill was called for La Traviata! Only 8 MEN Supers called, probably for the Soirée dressed in a tux? We'll see after his costume fitting. Bummer, though, no women Supers in this production. We made a pact last season that even if only one of us is called we'll jump at the opportunity to be in any opera. I'll probably get senior rush tix for most performances (10) and leave after intermission (after the Soirée) when Bill is released, meet him at the stage door and go home together - anything to be vicariously involved!

Can't believe we just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary; had a lovely evening at Cafe Jacqueline  - main course mushroom souffle dessert lime souffle, ah, almost France in North Beach!
